**Job Title: Maintenance Planner****Job Description**We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Planner to develop and maintain maintenance job plans, including routine tasks such as Preventive Maintenance, Condition Based Maintenance, and Operator Care. The role involves utilizing Work Orders within our CMMS system to ensure that all planned maintenance work complies with Safety, Regulatory, and industry standards. The Maintenance Planner will work with vendors and contractors to scope, schedule, and coordinate equipment repairs, and will participate in the development and implementation of maintenance policies, procedures, and best practices.**Responsibilities**Develop and maintain maintenance job plans utilizing Work Orders within our CMMS system.Ensure all planned maintenance work complies with Safety, Regulatory, and industry standards.Work with vendors and contractors to scope, schedule, and coordinate equipment repairs.Participate in the development and implementation of maintenance policies, procedures, and best practices.Collaborate with key stakeholders to scope and prioritize planned work.Acquire quotes and negotiate contracts with suppliers and vendors for maintenance parts and services.Provide back-up coverage to the Maintenance Supervisor as required.Responsible for the kitting and staging of maintenance parts as the MRO Buyer.Train maintenance technicians and operations staff in the utilization of the CMMS system.**Essential Skills**3+ years of Maintenance Planner experience.Experience in maintenance planning/scheduling.Mechanically inclined.Proficient in using CMMS.Experience navigating extensive Excel and Access databases.**Additional Skills & Qualifications**402/443A/309A certifications and experience.Experience as an Electrician, Maintenance Supervisor.**Why Work Here?**We offer a comprehensive benefits package including vision, dental care, paid time off, life insurance, extended health care, and a pension plan. Personal Protective Equipment such as safety shoes, glasses, hearing protection, hair nets, and beard nets are required. The primary focus is on further processed protein products, including beef and poultry, with occasional work on pork.
