The Opportunity When we launched Branch in 2019, our original mission was making it easy for teams of all sizes to furnish a corporate office with the speed and cost of a big box store, but the ease, ergonomics and quality of high‑end contract furniture. During COVID, we put that mission on hold to support the millions of new remote workers creating workspaces at home. Now the world is changing again. Over the past two years, we’ve had a front‑row view as many organizations have returned to the office, with more adopting a hybrid approach. Branch is uniquely positioned to become the partner of choice for companies that want to create inspiring and ergonomic workspaces anywhere their team works, whether remote, hybrid, or in the office full‑time—all without breaking the bank. We’re already doing it: our office products have achieved rave reviews from startups and landlords to F500 companies and institutions like Google, Shopify, LVMH, SpaceX and MIT. We’ve built Branch Business to eight figures of annual revenue, and it’s time to take it to the next level, driven by partnerships in the commercial real estate ecosystem. The Role We’re hiring an ambitious, AI‑savvy Sales Development Representative (SDR) in Toronto to elevate how Branch handles inbound demand. You’ll qualify inbound opportunities sourced from our multiple inbound funnels (e.g. website forms) and work closely with the GM of B2B and our Account Executives to continuously improve our inbound engine. A substantial component of your work will involve operating, testing, and refining AI agents (inbox, voice, routing, qualification, etc.) to eliminate manual work and accelerate conversion. You’ll also experiment with AI‑driven outbound campaigns, targeting high‑potential customer types with new Branch offerings and personalized messages that generate meetings. This isn’t a typical SDR role. You’ll blend sales skills with hands‑on AI experimentation to build a faster, more efficient, and more helpful buyer journey. Key Responsibilities Qualify inbound leads quickly and professionally across email, phone, and video. Design, test, and optimize AI agents to automate qualification, routing, and follow‑ups. Run structured experiments across the inbound funnel and report insights. Partner with AEs on smooth client handoffs and with the GM on process improvements. Experiment with AI outbound approaches and platforms. Keep our CRM clean, accurate, and automation‑friendly. What We’re Looking For 1–3 years of SDR/BDR experience, ideally in a B2B environment. Genuine interest in AI: comfortable using LLMs and automation tools. Strong communicator who is confident on the phone and video. Impeccable written communication skills. High urgency and responsiveness; you understand speed wins inbound. Analytical and experiment‑driven: comfortable running tests and interpreting data. Resourceful, curious, and comfortable in fast‑changing environments. Organized, autonomous, and able to juggle multiple priorities without dropping details. You’ll Stand Out If You Have Experience operating AI agents (inbox automation, AI phone agents, HubSpot automations, etc.). HubSpot fluency. Familiarity with the commercial real estate industry and the built environment. Experience selling to SMB or mid‑market teams.
