**Job Title: General Production Worker****Job Description**As a General Production Worker, you will rotate work stations between feeding finished candy onto the dumping table and inspecting candy quality to ensure that the packaged product meets quality standards. You will be responsible for packing bagged candy into cardboard boxes, manually loading boxes onto pallets for the warehouse, and communicating material requirements to appropriate personnel. Your role will also involve supporting machine operators, maintaining cleanliness around the work station, fixing jam-ups, and recording batch numbers and times for every new pallet of candy. You will need to have knowledge of SOPs and work instructions, participate in safety programs, and ensure all packaged products meet GMP and food safety requirements.**Responsibilities**Rotate work stations between feeding candy onto the dumping table and inspecting candy quality.Pack bagged candy into cardboard boxes and load boxes onto pallets.Communicate material requirements to appropriate personnel.Provide support to machine operators.Continuously clean the area surrounding the work station.Maintain general work centre cleanliness and support major line cleaning.Fix jam-ups and record batch numbers and times for new pallets of candy.Understand and follow SOPs and work instructions.Participate in and support safety programs and initiatives.Ensure all packaged products meet GMP and food safety requirements.**Essential Skills**Packing and general labor skills.Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.Experience in general labor/packaging and forklift operation.**Additional Skills & Qualifications**Experience with forklift operation, sanitation, and machine operating.**Why Work Here?**This permanent opportunity offers growth with a large, established employer that is stable in the industry. It is temperature-controlled and very clean, with compliance to GMP requirements such as PPE, hairnets, beardnets, and safety shoes. The facility operates 24/7 with rotating continental day and night shifts (7-7). The schedule rotates between day and night shifts, offering a structured work-life balance.
