Responsibilities Develop a cross-platform mobile application (iOS and Android) for booking and managing shipments Design and implement a secure backend system to support user accounts, shipment data, and real-time tracking Integrate real-time shipment tracking features, including notifications and status updates Build user-friendly interfaces for booking, payment, and shipment management Ensure seamless communication between mobile app and backend services Collaborate on project planning, timeline estimation, and feature prioritization Provide technical guidance on logistics and shipping app best practices Conduct thorough testing and debugging to ensure reliability and performance Skills And Requirements Proven experience in cross-platform mobile app development (e.g., React Native, Flutter) Strong backend development skills (Node.js, Python, or similar) Familiarity with logistics, shipping, or e-commerce applications Experience with real-time data integration and tracking APIs Knowledge of secure authentication and data privacy best practices Ability to design intuitive user interfaces and smooth user experiences Excellent problem-solving and communication skills Based in the UK or able to work with UK-based clients preferred Availability for project-based work with potential for future collaboration About Twine Twine is a leading freelance marketplace connecting top freelancers, consultants, and contractors with companies needing creative and tech expertise.
