As a Co-op Accountant at MNP, you will be part of a diverse Assurance and Accounting team dedicated to providing tailored financial solutions. Your role will involve developing technical skills in tasks such as audits, bookkeeping, and tax matters, while applying knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards. Collaborate with clients to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting and develop insightful strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop skills in compilations, reviews, and audits
• Manage multiple client files and conduct inventory counts
• Summarize financial status with balance sheets and reports
• Establish charts of accounts for precise entries
• Collaborate with engagement teams to enhance client relationships
Requirements:
• Pursuing a degree in commerce or business administration
• Working towards CPA Professional Education Program prerequisites
• Previous accounting experience is an advantage
• Familiarity with accounting and tax software
• Customer service skills are considered an asset
