Fabricate marine metal products at Neptunus Yachts International in St. Catharines, using welding blueprints and precision measuring instruments onsite. This full-time position offers permanent employment.
As a Metal Fabricator, you will work in manufacturing, marine installation, fabrication, and construction. The work involves stainless steel, composite materials, aluminum alloys, steel, iron, and heavy metals. You will use MIG, FCAW, GMAW, and TIG welding techniques while supporting custom fabrication, marine repair, shipbuilding, and repair.
Key Responsibilities:
- Interpret welding blueprints, drawings, specifications, manuals, and processes
- Operate welding, cutting, shaping, and bending equipment
- Fabricate or repair metal parts and products
- Examine welds against required standards and specifications
- Verify dimensions using precision measuring instruments
Requirements:
- Three to less than five years of experience
- Other trades certificate or diploma, or equivalent experience
- Experience with stainless steel welding and metal fabrication
- Valid driver's licence
- Ability to handle loads up to 23 kilograms
