Experienced Cabinetmaker Custom Millwork

Experienced cabinetmakers can shape custom millwork on site using woodworking machines, detailed plans, and precise fitting skills. French is required for this position.

This cabinetmaker position requires five years or more of experience and other trades certification, a diploma, or equivalent experience. Work takes place at a custom cabinet shop, furniture manufacturing company, or millwork shop, including assembly operations. The work focuses on cabinets, kitchen cabinets, and vanities, with opportunities to instruct apprentices. Candidates need own transportation and must work at the physical location.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate saws, jointers, mortisers, and shapers
• Study plans, specifications, and production drawings
• Trim joints and fit complete subassemblies
• Sand surfaces and apply veneer, stain, or polish
• Maintain a clean and safe workplace

Requirements:

• French language ability
• Five years or more of experience
• Other trades certificate, diploma, or equivalent experience
• Own transportation
• Accuracy, organization, and attention to detail
