Join to apply for the NURSING UNIT CLERK, ONCOLOGY role at Northern Health - BC Northern Health is looking for an experienced, highly efficient, and self‑directed Nursing Unit Clerk to support the Oncology department. In accordance with the established mission, vision, values, and strategic priorities of Northern Health, the Nursing Unit Clerk performs a variety of clerical duties related to the operation of a care area, including acting as a communication link for the Unit by transcribing and processing physicians’ orders, communicating with other departments and hospitals, coordinating appointments, arranging tests and receiving results, receiving and directing visitors, answering telephones, assembling and maintaining charts, and performing keyboarding and data entry responsibilities. Nursing Unit Clerk Certification Is Required For This Position. The new Ksyen Regional Hospital welcomed its first patients on November 24, 2024. The facility features 82 beds, private rooms, and is a centre for trauma services, orthopedic surgeries, pathology, radiology, clinical support, and pharmacy services, and also serves as a training site for medical students in the Northern Medical Program. The main industries in Terrace are communications, transportation, and natural resources, and the community hosts educational institutions such as Northwest Community College and a UNBC campus.
