Job Summary The Senior P3 Project (Design) Lead is responsible for managing and leading the design team for P3 (Public-Private Partnership) projects in the Alternative Financing and Procurement (AFP) model. The Senior P3 Project Lead will play a critical role in overseeing the pursuit submission process for new projects and, if successful, the implementation stage of healthcare facilities. The position requires a strong background in healthcare architecture and extensive experience managing P3/AFP projects from pursuit through implementation. Key Responsibilities Lead the design team for P3 projects pursued by our firm with Infrastructure Ontario, managing project schedules, budgets, and deliverables for the design team. Collaborate with project managers, technical experts, and other design professionals to ensure that designs are coordinated and meet project objectives. Develop design solutions that meet project requirements and are feasible within the P3 procurement framework, including preparing design deliverables such as drawings, specifications, and other documentation. Present design solutions to clients, stakeholders, and project teams, and participate in business‑development activities such as client meetings, proposal preparation, and presentations. Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure designs are coordinated and meet objectives. Keep up-to-date with industry trends and technologies, applying this knowledge to improve design processes. Mentor junior team members and provide technical guidance and support. Qualifications Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Architecture or a related field. Minimum of 7 years of experience in an architectural firm or related industry. Experience working on P3 projects in the infrastructure sector. Strong design skills with a portfolio that demonstrates design excellence. Excellent communication and leadership skills. Strong problem‑solving and decision‑making skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. Professionalism, strong work ethic, and commitment to quality. Ability to work effectively in a team environment. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other software as required. Understanding of building codes, construction techniques, and material technologies.
