Edmonton Catholic Schools is currently accepting teacher applications for Ukrainian teachers. Applications are accepted and interviews conducted for teaching positions throughout the calendar year. Successful applicants will be hired to the 2023-2024 replacement roster with access to advertised positions, or placed directly into a position depending on Division need. Teachers under contract with ECSD have benefits with 100% of health benefit premiums paid by the Division.

Edmonton Catholic Schools invites applications for Ukrainian teaching positions. Candidates must be fluently bilingual in four language domains - reading, writing, listening, and speaking. Please include the following documentation in your application:

Resume and Cover Letter (If applying as a French Immersion candidate, please provide a cover letter written in French)

Two (2) Most Recent Summative Teaching Evaluations (contract position evaluations, practicum evaluations, or reference letters from recent substitute positions)

Faith Formation Plan (Click link to complete document)

Two (2) Professional References Letters (dated within the last two years)

Baptism Certificate (if applicable)

Please note Edmonton Catholic Schools only considers non-Catholic applicants in the following specialized areas:

Language Programs: Spanish, French, Ukrainian, and Cree

CTS: Construction/Fabrication, Foods/Fashion, Cosmetology

Elementary and Secondary Music

High School Diploma Level Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics

Lived Indigenous Experiences
