3D Rendering Specialist – Interiors

Location: Can be remote but would prefer someone who lives in Vancouver and can come into the office Contract: Project-based, with potential for ongoing work Edit Studios is seeking a talented Rendering Specialist with strong SketchUp and Enscape skills to support our interior design team on a contract basis. This role is ideal for someone who has a great design eye, understands interior environments, and can collaborate live with our designers to bring concepts to life. What You’ll Do Take our existing SketchUp models and prepare them for high-quality rendering in Enscape. Set up and refine lighting, materials, camera views, and overall scene ambiance to match our design vision. Make design-sensitive adjustments in real time during live working sessions over Microsoft Teams. Manage quick iterations before we finalize and export polished renders for client presentations. Ensure visual consistency with our studio’s aesthetic and brand standards. What We’re Looking For Advanced proficiency with SketchUp and Enscape. A strong interior design sensibility—an understanding of spatial composition, finishes, lighting, and visual storytelling. Ability to work collaboratively and efficiently during live online sessions. A portfolio demonstrating renderings of interior environments in the commercial spaces. Reliable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently between check-ins. Nice-to-Haves Experience working with interior design studios or architects. Experience in commercial office renderings specifically. Familiarity with Enscape’s latest features and rendering optimization techniques. Ability to troubleshoot geometry, texture, and lighting issues quickly and effectively. How to Apply Resume Your hourly or project rate Qualifications Proficiency in SketchUp and Enscape for 3D modeling and rendering. Strong design skills with experience in interior design and creating engaging visualizations. Ability to collaborate effectively with teams and clients to interpret concepts and bring visions to life. Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality, realistic renderings. Excellent time management and organizational skills to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field is preferred. Knowledge of additional rendering programs or graphic design software is a plus. Understanding of how to bring CAD backgrounds into SketchUp.
