Assistant Store Manager - Spencer's Hourly rate ranges from $19.60 to $19.85 per hour and is dependent upon qualifications and experience. About the Role The Assistant Store Manager is responsible for establishing and maintaining Guest Services, supporting the Store Manager in overall store operations, ensuring maximum sales and profitability by developing staff, controlling expenses and shrinkage, and managing all aspects of merchandising and inventory control in adherence with company policies and procedures. Responsibilities Support the Store Manager with day‑to‑day store operations. Develop and manage staff performance. Control expenses and minimize shrinkage. Oversee merchandising and inventory control. Maintain guest service standards. Qualifications Minimum age requirement: 18. Prior retail and/or management experience required. Physical demands: more than 8 hours of standing, walking, climbing ladders, and lifting up to 50 pounds. Strong organizational and communication skills.
