Data Analyst - SQL On behalf of our client in the Banking Sector, PROCOM is looking for a Data Analyst - SQL. Data Analyst - SQL - Job Description
Shield is a risk-based authentication solution being implemented as part of the layered fraud strategy
The fraud solution uses advanced risk models and profiling to assess behavioural attributes and involves multifaceted data that requires streamlining for business needs
They will be in charge of keeping track, updated and refining the fraud data requirements for the project
They are working with our project team to ensure their reporting needs are met and ensure documentations are translated correctly into the report
They will have the ability to demonstrate to the business and know how to provide mock-ups and enhance documentation as required.
Be part of daily stand-up sprint meetings and sprint planning
Data Analyst - SQL - Mandatory Skills
5+ years of overall hands-on experience as a Data Analyst / Reporting Analyst
3+ years of hands-on experience with SQL, python and/or BigQuery
5+ years of hands-on experience with SQL Server
Prior Agile work environment exposure
Excellent communication skills as this contractor will be interacting with the business group
Demonstrated ability to be flexible/adaptable in exercising judgment in a changing environment and to manage competing priorities
Proven ability to learn business processes quickly and work well with business partners at different organizational levels
Exceptional leadership skills to review processes and procedures to create efficiencies, eliminate duplication and provide organizational support to achieve business objectives
Strong relationship management with an ability to establish productive relationships between various leaders, departments and partners across the organization
Well-developed communication skills, including precise articulation of ideas and opinions to prepare detailed business cases and proposals
Solutions-oriented and ability to develop and create innovative solutions to critical business or organizational data issues
Undergraduate degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Engineering, Mathematics, or another related field
Data Analyst - SQL- Preferred Skills
Confluence and JIRA experience
Documentation experience from previous Business Analyst roles (review data mapping, creating reference documents)
Prior North American Banking or FI experience
Prior User Onboarding experience onto a Power BI Server would be an asset
