The MuleSoft Architect will lead the design and implementation of MuleSoft-based integration solutions, ensuring robust architecture and seamless integration across various technologies. Based in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) or Canada’s east coast, this role focuses on delivering high-quality, scalable, and fault-tolerant integration solutions while overseeing development, testing, and project planning.

Job Description:


  • Location: Preferably GTA, open to candidates within Canada’s east coast


Responsibilities:

Integration Architecture:

  • Design and implement MuleSoft-based integration solutions, adhering to SDLC best practices across multiple technologies.
  • Oversee and validate client’s interface architecture (current and new) and manage design workshops with multiple client teams.
  • Develop and review project plans for interfaces, including existing, temporary, and final interfaces, as well as new integrations.
  • Ensure end-to-end integrity by overseeing development and regression testing for all interfaces.


Control and Reporting:

  • Design and oversee control reports to detect and correct potential issues, such as billing breakages, ensuring data integrity for utility clients.


Technical Leadership:

  • Own the technical architecture and direction for clients, ensuring alignment with business needs.
  • Develop middleware solution architectures, leveraging cloud expertise and architectural patterns such as microservices, event-driven, and service-oriented architectures.


Operational Excellence:

  • Ensure highly available, scalable, and fault-tolerant systems by addressing message sequencing, correlation, and queuing challenges.
  • Utilize advanced concepts like content-based routing, message enrichment, guaranteed delivery, scatter-gather, and aggregate services.


What You Will Bring:

  • 8 to 13 years of experience in designing, implementing, and integrating architectures.
  • Strong expertise in MuleSoft cloud platform and APIs.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of middleware solution architectures, cloud platforms, and backend databases.
  • Experience with relational databases, SQL functions, and queries.
  • Proven ability to design and operationalize scalable and fault-tolerant systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and understanding of message sequencing, correlation, and queuing technologies.

The pay range that the employer in good faith reasonably expects to pay for this position is $55.48/hour - $86.68/hour. Our benefits include medical, dental, vision and retirement benefits.
