Vice‑President – Financial, Communications and Other Business Services Key Position: Senior Manager, Product, Business Credit Cards Employer: RBC Dominion Securities Job Details What is the opportunity? This role is accountable for the strategy, management and delivery of the RBC Small Business Credit Cards product portfolio. The incumbent develops and executes cross‑partner strategies, stays up‑to‑date on Canada’s business landscape, and ensures RBC capitalises on emerging opportunities. They contribute to the overall financial goals and lead the development and implementation of key strategic initiatives. What will you do? Develop, execute and own the product strategy for the Small Business Credit Card portfolio. Identify market trends that drive strategy, assess effectiveness, and recommend enhancements. Create executive‑level presentations and business cases to support strategic recommendations. Collaborate with the leadership team to develop and implement comprehensive growth strategies focused on long‑term goals and profitability. Identify performance trends and recommend initiatives to increase product competitiveness. Build strong cross‑functional relationships across Cards groups, Loyalty, Operations, Technology, Marketing and other teams to align enterprise goals. Provide oversight on Business Review processes, including data analysis and reporting updates. Maintain expertise of the competitive landscape to drive innovative thinking and differentiation. What do you need to succeed? Innovative thinker, proactive, well‑organized, detail‑oriented and thrives in a fast‑paced environment. Exceptional critical thinking skills and a passion for solving ambiguous and complex business issues through a structured approach. Deep quantitative and qualitative analytical skills, able to translate findings into clear, insightful recommendations for senior executives. Advanced communication skills and experience creating PowerPoint presentations for C‑level audiences. Strong Excel and analytical reporting skills. Comfort with ambiguity and ability to adapt to changing priorities. Proven collaborator who quickly grasps new concepts and leads cross‑functional teams. Undergraduate degree with 3–5 years experience in business banking and product management. Nice to have: Credit card industry experience, knowledge of credit card financial and analytical skills, awareness of Canada’s retail or business banking landscape, experience with external partners, technology/solutions acumen, focus on digital transformation and innovation.
