On behalf of our Banking client, Procom is searching for a Middle-office OTC Derivatives Analyst for a 12-month role. This position is a hybrid position with 3-4 days onsite at our client's Toronto office. Middle-office OTC Derivatives Analyst - Job Description: The Middle-office OTC Derivatives Analyst will manage day-to-day activities related to OTC derivatives, ensuring accurate reconciliation and processing. The role involves responding to broker margin calls and investigating any collateral asset breaks and queries, contributing to the operations team's positive culture. Middle-office OTC Derivatives Analyst - Responsibilities: • Perform day-to-day processing and analysis of alternative products, including various derivatives products • Ensure accurate and timely delivery of reporting, maintaining accuracy in accounting for performance and exposure analysis • Perform accounting functions including control and updating the general ledger, analysis of profit and loss (P&L), and reconciliation break clearance • Monitor net cash flows for various products • Calculate mark-to-market (MTM) for all open positions and post to respective reporting platforms • Ensure compliance with client's trust agreements and relevant disclosure documents • Perform ad hoc requests as directed by the manager Middle-office OTC Derivatives Analyst - Mandatory Skills: • Enrolment in CAIA/CGA/CMA/CFA or other recognized accredited program is desirable • 2+ years of experience in Fund Accounting, OTC Derivatives Administration, Fund on Funds, Hedge Funds, Pension Reporting, or Equity Funds • Proficient in MS Excel, including VBA/Macro capabilities • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills Middle-office OTC Derivatives Analyst - Nice-to-Have Skills: • Working knowledge of GAAP • Experience with Wealth360 Fund Accounting • Familiarity with Bloomberg terminal Middle-office OTC Derivatives Analyst - Assignment Length: This is a 12-month contract position with the possibility of extension. Middle-office OTC Derivatives Analyst - Start Date: ASAP Middle-office OTC Derivatives Analyst - Assignment Location: Toronto, Ontario, Canada. This is a hybrid role requiring 3-4 days onsite each week.
