Construction/Instructor

We are seeking General Contractors specializing in one or more of the following trades 1/ Carpentry, 2/ plumbing 3/ electrical for a position as a instructor in remote wilderness communities. You will oversee and instruct 10 to 12 individuals for a pre apprenticeship program for a period of 12-15 weeks. Airfare Transportation and accommodations are all included.Responsibilities:• Oversee all aspects of construction project from planning to implementation• Allocate resources for assigned projects• Supervise onsite student personnel• Interface with community council• taking inventory and ordering needed material.• Building mock walls and in class educating• Maintain high standards of workmanship that adhere building codes.• Addressing all communities needs, allowing students for all hands on experienceQualifications:• Previous experience in construction management or other related fields• Familiarity with construction management and home renovation• Strong leadership qualities• Strong communication skills• Able to follow curriculum• Patient and detail-oriented
