POSITION OVERVIEW Paisley Partners Inc, a Navacord Company, is accepting applications for experienced Commercial Insurance Brokers who are knowledgeable expert advisors in commercial lines insurance. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a book of business in our commercial division, servicing clients in a courteous and professional manner, and assisting the producer in obtaining, maintaining and expanding business. Base pay range CA$75,000.00/yr - CA$85,000.00/yr RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsible for managing a book of business, which focuses on maintaining relationships with a number of associations Manage account documentation (i.e. routine inquiries, quotes shoes binders, statement of values, insurance contracts, endorsements, cancellations, etc.) Review and assess applications, bind coverages, calculate premiums, issue certificates of insurance, document policies, and report claims Ensure that premiums with applicable taxes and fees are collected prior to binding, either through the credit card site, cheque, email transfer, CAFO, etc. Upload policy documents within portals Maintain a high level of service when answering a large number of client calls during renewal periods Set clear expectations for clients and business partners by providing same‑day response time Review clients’ current coverage and exposures, loss experience, and analyze risk to determine the product/service requirements Work closely with producers and other staff on all aspects of client service, marketing, renewal while adhering to best practices and standard procedures REQUIREMENTS: 8‑10 years of commercial insurance experience required Coun degree preferred Working towards C.I.P. or C.A.I.B. designation Superb interpersonal skills and attention to detail Ability to be a self‑starter with strong written and oral communication skills as well as organizational skills Skills in Outlook, Excel, Word and EPIC BENEFITS: Health and Dental Benefits Vary Days Navacord DOES NOT utilize artificial intelligence in the screening, assessment, or selection of applicants for this position.
