Fer-Pal Infrastructure is a North American leader in water‑main rehabilitation, delivering clean and safe water for municipalities across Canada and the USA. We’re growing rapidly and are looking for a Project Accountant to support our Canadian and US projects for a maternity leave replacement . Reporting to the Manager, Project Accounting , you will: Provide project accounting support and oversight across multiple projects Review cost allocations and perform re‑allocations as necessary Attend project meetings and provide financial insights for month‑end close Ensure accurate recording of costs and revenues in the ERP Assist with project setup, change orders, purchase orders, and compliance with internal controls Support project‑related reserves, proformas, and audit requirements Train and advise project managers on ERP usage and financial processes Prepare ad hoc financial reports and analyze project performance Qualifications & Experience Minimum 3 years of project accounting experience in the construction industry Post‑secondary education in Finance or Accounting Strong understanding of revenue and costing methodologies Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills Proficiency in Viewpoint and Spreadsheet Server is an asset Ability to manage priorities in a high‑volume, fast‑paced environment Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with project teams What We Look For Independent, proactive, and detail‑oriented Committed to safety, quality, and innovation Team‑oriented and collaborative mindset Professionalism and dedication to delivering excellent customer service Fer‑Pal Mission At Fer‑Pal, we aim to create a long‑term, sustainable, and well‑managed business.
