Bindery Operator

Our client, a leading organization in the printing and packaging industry, is seeking a Bindery Operator to join their team. As a Bindery Operator, you will be part of the production department supporting operational excellence and quality assurance. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, reliability, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: Bindery OperatorLocation: Richmond, BCPay Range: $32-36/hrShift: Afternoon shifts (Felxible) Full-time, permanent  What's the Job? Operate, set up, and maintain bindery equipment (cutters, folders, stitchers, perfect binders) Perform cutting, folding, stitching, gluing, die-cutting, embossing, laminating, and heat-stamping. Set up and operate equipment such as the Bobst folder gluer, InkJet labeler, and other finishing machines to meet production deadlines. Perform hand and machine operations to collate, fold, bind, and finish print materials with precision. Ensure quality control by inspecting finished products and maintaining machinery through cleaning and repairs. What's Needed? Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Ability to operate and troubleshoot various bindery and finishing equipment. Good organizational skills and the ability to work efficiently in a team environment.
