Position Summary We are searching for a Service Delivery Planning Team Manager for a current vacancy on our team in Halifax, Nova Scotia. The Manager is responsible for managing and aligning the Coastal Scheduling teams for the Thales ISSC programs. The teams build and manage the maintenance and work‑period schedules for vessels home‑ported on their respective coast. The Manager is accountable for delivering schedules and shared processes within each Program’s specific Maintenance Program and ensuring execution teams are trained and understand all applicable Coastal ISSC Programs. Key Areas of Responsibility Liaise with key stakeholders to develop valid and accurate bid and project maintenance packages. Ensure data transfer and coordination between program management software systems to capture accurate performance data. Assist Coastal Operations Managers through resource leveling and scheduling techniques to reduce costs and improve schedule performance. Liaise with internal and external stakeholders for integration of processes within various Maintenance Management Systems. Coordinate internal EAC review meetings with coastal team members and update EAC and LFR projections in Primavera P6. Extract and assign generic codes from P6 to new hires and existing personnel as required. Maintain Service Delivery Fleet Activities in P6, activating/closing timecodes and updating activity dates based on the latest Fleet schedules. Perform other tasking as required. Health, Safety & Environment Comply with all relevant HS&E legislative requirements, policies, procedures and frameworks to prevent accidental exposures to self, colleagues, visitors and/or the environment. Promote Thales’s Health, Safety and Environmental programs by demonstrating HS&E leadership in a professional and supportive manner. Minimum Requirements Competent use of scheduling tools (Primavera P6 & MS Project). Project planning knowledge essential. Demonstrated analytical skills. Prior experience in shipbuilding, repair, or maintenance industry. High level of computing skills, particularly with MS Office and Power BI. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to prepare and present reports to a range of audiences. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to promote cooperation at all levels. Management experience with a multi‑discipline team. Experience leading a team through Change Management processes. College graduate with trade experience, or Post‑graduate qualifications or training in Business, Project Management, or Engineering. Preferred Qualifications 7+ years of experience scheduling projects highly advantageous. Experience with DRMIS considered an asset. Physical Demands Predominantly office‑based, but will also work onboard naval vessels or remotely (including from home). Special Position Requirements 40 hours per week. Occasional domestic travel may be required, including access to government facilities and assets, such as naval vessels. Compensation The total target compensation (TTC) market range for this position, inclusive of annual base salary and variable compensation target, is between Total Target Cash (TTC) $106,000 – $130,000 – $154,000 CAD annual.
