Support receiving, inventory, and order processing at White Cap through accurate shipment handling and dependable distribution center work. This role is based in a distribution center.
As a Distribution Center Associate II, you will perform specialized tasks across receiving, inventory, customer service, and order processing. Your work includes recording shipments, preparing merchandise, operating material-handling equipment, and maintaining stock accuracy. You will work under general supervision while escalating complex or unusual problems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, count, and record shipment data in the system
- Match packing lists with actual packed merchandise
- Operate forklifts and other listed material-handling machinery
- Verify bin integrity and physical stock counts
- Maintain organized, clean work areas and follow safety procedures
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED strongly preferred
- Generally two to five years in the responsibility area
- One or more years of related experience preferred
- Specialized skills training or certification may be required
- Ability to lift and maneuver heavy or awkward materials
