About Us At Haply Robotics, we specialize in haptic technology and human–machine interaction, building robotics solutions that bridge the digital and physical worlds. About the Role Applications Support Engineer – a key technical liaison between customers, sales, and engineering. You’ll deliver first‑line technical support, lead hands‑on product demos, and ensure smooth integration of Haply’s robotic and haptic systems. Your focus will be on real‑world applications, customer success, and problem‑solving, not on sales targets or strategic account management. • 40 working hours per week, Monday to Friday, between 9:00 AM and 6:00 PM Eastern Time (ET). • Based in Montreal, Canada; travel may be required within Canada and the United States. • Applicants must be Canadian citizens or permanent residents. • A criminal record check and/or enhanced security screening may be required as a condition of employment. Responsibilities Customer Support & Technical Assistance Deliver responsive, first‑line technical troubleshooting for customers using Haply’s robotic solutions. Serve as a technical point of contact between clients, sales, and engineering teams. Document and escape issues, ensuring accurate follow‑up and resolution. Support customers post‑sale to ensure successful implementation, adoption, and satisfaction. Hands‑On Applications Engineering Apply hands‑on expertise in robotics and mechatronics to help customers deploy and integrate Haply products. Replicate, test, and validate customer use cases to deliver effective solutions. Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, or software‑related issues in collaboration with engineering. Conduct technical demonstrations, product trials, and presentations to highlight features and capabilities. Translate customer requirements into actionable technical feedback for internal teams. Provide technical insights during customer interactions to support pre‑ and post‑sale discussions. Cross‑Functional Collaboration Work closely with engineering to communicate customer feedback and improve product design. Collaborate with sales and operations to ensure customer needs are understood and met. Identify opportunities for product improvement or customization. Must Have 2+ years of experience in applications engineering, technical support, or related engineering role. Robotics experience is required (hardware, integration, or control systems). Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills with hands‑on technical aptitude. Customer‑facing experience – comfortable presenting and communicating with clients. Excellent communication with both technical and non‑technical audiences. Ability to collaborate across departments and manage multiple priorities. Nice to have Experience with CRM or ticketing systems (HubSpot, Odoo, or similar). Bilingual proficiency in French & English. Familiarity with haptics, automation, or embedded systems.
