Federated Co-operatives Limited (FCL) is hiring a Senior Health and Safety Advisor on a temporary basis (term up to 12-months) on our Health, Safety & Compliance team. This is a remote opportunity and can be based across Western Canada. Join us at FCL, where your expertise in health and safety will directly shape a culture of care, compliance, and innovation. Make a direct impact in your community What you’ll do: Support the Manager, Health and Safety to develop and implement Safety Programs across the Co-operative Retailing System (CRS). Manage WCB claims and processes. Provide guidance to team members and leaders in the training and administration of health and safety programs, ensuring compliance with all regulatory reporting requirements for relevant authorities and regulatory agencies. Support FCL safety programs and projects. Who you’ll work with: The Team: You will work closely with a team of Health and Safety Advisors and collaborate regularly with internal teams. This role will report directly to the Manager, Health & Safety. This team strives to cultivate a culture of collaboration, trust and innovation. Who you are: You are looking for a career in Health, Safety, Security, & Environment (HSSE) & Sustainability and: Have 6-9 years of relevant experience in a health and safety position. Have experience supporting claims management. Have a two-year Diploma or Certificate in OHS and a Canadian Registered Safety Professional Certificate (CRSP) (a combination of relevant education and experience may be considered).
