Lead Quality Engineer - Electrical Vention, a global automation platform headquartered in Montreal and Berlin, is seeking an experienced Lead Quality Engineer to drive the strategy for electrical products. With a technology stack that powers over 25,000 machines across 4,000 factories on 5 continents, you will help ensure reliability, safety, and consistency for our rapidly scaling automation platform. Responsibilities Lead root‑cause investigations for electrical product quality issues, ensuring rapid resolution and long‑term corrective actions. Design and execute test plans, validation protocols, and reliability programs for new and existing products. Collaborate with Engineering to improve product specifications, strengthen designs, and support continuous improvement. Partner with Manufacturing and Supply Chain to monitor supplier performance, evaluate quality metrics, and implement preventive measures. Own documentation and reporting for quality processes, including non‑conformances, CAPAs, test results, and performance metrics. Mentor junior team members, elevate quality practices across the organization, and contribute to building a world‑class electrical quality function. Qualifications Electrical engineering, electronics, or mechatronics background (degree or equivalent experience). Strong expertise in electrical systems, failure analysis, and reliability testing. Hands‑on experience with root‑cause analysis tools (e.g., 5 Whys, Ishikawa, FMEA). Experience working closely with hardware engineering and manufacturing teams. Ability to lead technical investigations and drive cross‑functional alignment. Experience with UL, CE, or other electrical compliance standards. Familiarity with PCB‑level testing, power electronics, or automation systems. Previous experience in a fast‑paced product manufacturing environment.
