Base pay range $40.00/hr - $80.00/hr 6 month contract to hire Approx rate: $40-80/hr Must Haves 10-20 years of experience as a Senior Estimator Proven expertise performing takeoffs from drawings, determining rates, production, and utility types (dry, wet, excavation) — with deep knowledge in at least four utility types Leadership skills with experience guiding teams and driving estimate accuracy Hands‑on experience in Division 2 (Sitework) Bachelor’s Degree (preferred) in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or Quantity Surveying Nice to Haves Experience in Division 31 (Earthwork) and Division 33 (Utilities) Familiarity with advanced estimating software (e.g., HCSS, On-Screen Takeoff, Bluebeam) Job Description Insight Global is seeking a seasoned Senior Lead Estimator to join one of Canada’s largest construction and infrastructure companies. With 10-20 years of senior-level estimating experience, you will lead high‑impact bids on large‑scale projects ranging from $50M to $110M (including mega projects). You will confidently interpret drawings, execute precise takeoffs, and apply expert knowledge of production rates and utility installations (dry, wet, excavation) across at least four specialty areas. This role requires strong leadership to mentor teams, ensure estimate integrity, and drive winning strategies in Division 2 (Sitework), with exposure to Divisions 31 and 33 considered a plus.
