In this position, you will handle customer payments, check load accuracy, and ensure compliance with safety protocols. Understanding lumber products is beneficial as you engage with customers and support their needs. Your ability to perform physically demanding tasks in any weather will be essential for success in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Collect payments and operate cash registers
• Verify customer loads for accuracy before departure
• Clear all outgoing and incoming loads in the yard
• Report any theft, accidents, or injuries to management
• Provide excellent service and support to customers
Requirements:
• Knowledge of lumber materials is an asset
• Ability to perform physically demanding work
• Strong verbal communication skills
• Basic computer knowledge required
• Flexible availability for evenings and weekends
