Job Description Electrical Engineering Technician/Electrical Drafter to join our Power Delivery Team, based in Toronto. The team works on a variety of project types ranging from high‑voltage substations, medium‑voltage substations and utility connections. Why WSP? What can you expect to do here: Develop and prepare electrical drawings, including single‑line diagrams, schematics and connection diagrams for a variety of clients. Prepare AutoCAD drawings. Conduct quality‑control checks of design drawings. Conduct site visits for review of electrical work (asset). Carry out contract administration during construction (asset). Other duties as assigned. What you’ll bring to WSP: Graduate of Electrical Engineering Technology or equivalent, with 2 to 5 years of relevant experience. AutoCAD proficiency (asset). Meticulous attention to detail. Working knowledge of Word and Excel. Strong mathematical skills. Ability to multi‑task in a multidisciplinary environment. Exceptional organizational, prioritizing and time‑management skills. Willingness to work overtime when required. Ability to work individually and as part of a team. Strong oral and written communication abilities.
