Position Overview We’re looking for a Store Manager for our The Shoe Co. banner who will put their best foot forward. As a Store Manager at The Shoe Co., you will report to the District Manager and lead the store environment, which fosters inclusivity and diverse customer connections. In this role, you will be responsible for coaching and leading the team to achieve store objectives, including in‑store sales, web orders, goals, recruiting, performance management, training, and development. Your ability to problem‑solve, thrive in a fast‑paced environment, lead a dynamic team, and execute on operational excellence will be key to your success. Key Job Accountabilities Assume leadership with accountability for maximizing store business results by consistently creating exceptional customer experiences. Facilitate achievement of business results by role‑modeling a shopping experience that encourages unique, responsive customer service, compelling merchandise presentation and operational integrity that will encourage positive customer connections and loyalty. Lead an operationally sound business by balancing company policies, procedures, shrink/loss prevention, payroll, reporting, and scheduling. Recruit, manage, develop, and train top talent who have a love of shoes. Achieve company objectives and enhance The Shoe Co. brand image by modeling our values of Passion, Accountability, Collaboration, and Authenticity/humility. Develop and implement agile business plans to achieve results. Foster teamwork, collaboration and change advocacy within the store and district. Maintain effective, open lines of communication with Senior Operational Managers. Qualifications Educational background: relevant post‑secondary education. Minimum 4 years of experience in a progressive retail supervisory role. Proven success in the achievement of sales and profitability targets in large volume top‑doors. Positive and energetic team player with strong leadership capability. Proven ability to motivate others. Proficiency in computer use, including e‑mail, MS Word, and Excel or other spreadsheet programs. Ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment while also being committed to creating a compelling customer experience. Ability to work days, closing shifts, and weekends.
