Gordon F. Kells High School seeks an Educational Associate for immediate employment through June 25, 2027. This role focuses on assisting students with high behavioral needs and promoting successful transitions to peer interactions. Essential tasks include planning life skills programs and overseeing safety plans while collaborating closely with teachers.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support students with diverse and high behavioral needs
• Transport students as necessary using personal vehicle
• Attend to personal hygiene and medical needs
• Prepare life skills and academic programs as directed
• Supervise intensive needs students and small groups
Requirements:
• Minimum Grade 12 diploma required
• Valid driver's license essential for transportation
• Flexible and adaptable to changing situations
• Experience with school computer software is a plus
• NVCI, First Aid, or Autism training preferred
