Apply electrical troubleshooting and diagnostics as a certified Electrician with Sandvik in Winnipeg’s heavy equipment manufacturing environment. Work hands-on with mobile mining equipment.
This Electrician position supports Sandvik’s Winnipeg ITH Center of Excellence, manufacturing underground ITH drills and support units. You will install high- and low-voltage assemblies, interpret schematics, and repair electrical systems. The work includes testing equipment and documenting technical results.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install electrical assemblies into mobile mining equipment
- Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical faults
- Interpret diagrams, schematics, and technical documentation
- Repair defective components, parts, and systems
- Test repaired equipment for safe operation
Requirements:
- Certified electrician with two to five years’ experience
- Strong electrical troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
- Ability to read electrical diagrams and schematics
- Valid driver’s licence and reliable vehicle
- Legal entitlement to work in Canada
