In this position, you will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and execute individualized behavior support strategies. Your input will be essential for problem-solving and promoting a safe environment for individuals with intellectual disabilities. This role requires a commitment to effective interventions and thorough documentation of progress through various methods.
Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with team members on support plan development
• Implement and monitor individualized behavior support plans
• Document progress using data collection techniques
• Learn safe intervention techniques and hands-on strategies
• Promote a safe and supportive environment for individuals
Requirements:
• One year post-secondary diploma in a human service field
• Six months experience with intellectual disabilities
• First Aid Certification required
• Valid Driver's License and access to a vehicle
• Satisfactory Vulnerable Sector Check required
