In this role, you’ll design and implement solutions that migrate data from banking platforms into Verafin’s cloud-based application — helping build the world’s most effective financial crime-fighting network.You’ll fit right in if you’re collaborative, detail-oriented, and passionate about solving complex technical challenges that make a global impact.**What You’ll Do*** Implement data normalization and ingestion solutions in AWS using Postgres, Java, Scala, and Unix utilities.* Define strategies for data flows to meet application requirements.* Collaborate with teams to deliver secure, scalable services* Provide clear technical guidance to non-technical stakeholders.* Continuously improve coding practices and system performance.**What You’ll Bring*** Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.* 2–5 years of software development experience.* Strong skills in Java and relational databases (Postgres).* Experience with automated testing and cloud-based environments.* Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.**Nice to Have*** Experience with Scala and Unix utilities.* Familiarity with AWS services and data migration strategies.* Background in financial technology or regulated industries.This position is located in St. John's, and offers the opportunity for a hybrid work environment (at least 3 days a week in office, subject to change), providing flexibility and accessibility for qualified candidates. **Come as You Are**Nasdaq is an equal opportunity employer.
