ABC Recycling Ltd., a leader in metal recycling since 1912, is looking for a General Labourer. In this hands-on role, you'll analyze, sort, cut, and package metals, ensuring efficiency and quality in a lively warehouse environment. This position requires a dedication to safety practices and effective customer communication.
Key Responsibilities:
• Receive and assist in unloading metals from customers
• Assess and weigh various types of non-ferrous metals
• Maximize mix loads by sorting and high-grading scrap
• Dismantle scrap materials and extract valuable metals
• Maintain the cleanliness and functionality of equipment
Requirements:
• Mechanical inclination is essential
• Knowledge of general safety practices
• Strong professional communication skills
• Willingness to work outdoors in all weather
• Forklift or skid steer operation knowledge is an asset
