THE OPPORTUNITY: Tundra is excited to announce an opportunity for a Network Analyst based out of our Virden, MB office. The successful incumbent will be eligible to participate in Tundra’s hybrid work schedule on a rotating basis. This role is critical to ensuring the stable operation of Tundra’s network infrastructure and systems. The Network Analyst will plan, develop, install, configure, secure, support, and optimize all network hardware, software, and communication links. This position plays a key role in maintaining connectivity across multiple offices and supporting a growing network environment. REPORTS TO: Senior Network Analyst WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING: Design and analyze network technology needs. Maintain and troubleshoot network infrastructure, including firewalls, routers, switches, VPNs, WANs, LANs, VLANs, radios, fiber optics, and internet access. Monitor and maintain server infrastructure, including physical servers, virtual servers, SANs, and appliances. Document steps and resolutions in IT ticket tracking systems and knowledgebases. Ensure secure communications and connectivity across head office, field offices, and remote sites. Implement network security measures, including access control and intrusion detection. Research network products, services, standards, and best practices. Schedule and perform network and server upgrades and repairs. Respond to alerts and support requests related to network and server issues. Install, configure, test, and troubleshoot network peripheral devices. Collaborate with application support, help desk, and project teams. Support a 300-node and growing network infrastructure. Ensure reliable connectivity for remote offices and users. WHAT YOU NEED: College diploma or university degree in Information Technology Microsoft, Networking, and VMWare certifications 3–8 years of experience in network support for small to medium-sized businesses Proficient knowledge of network protocols and technologies (firewalls, routers, switches, VPNs, radio communications) Experience with SonicWall, HP, and Cisco network devices recommended Experience with Microsoft Windows, Windows Server, Office 365, and Active Directory Knowledge of virtualization solutions, specifically VMWare WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR: Strong written and oral communication skills Keen attention to detail and proven problem-solving abilities Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneouslySelf-motivated and collaborative team player Willingness to mentor and train less experienced colleagues OTHER DETAILS: This position is eligible to participate in Tundra’s hybrid work schedule on a rotating basis and is subject to business needs.
