Support front store operations at Shoppers Drug Mart by strengthening product flow, staff leadership, and customer experience in a local community setting.
As Assistant Front Store Manager, you will assist the Front Store Manager with human, physical, and financial resources. You will maintain Store Standards, coordinate staffing, and support hiring across departments excluding Pharmacy. The position focuses on store objectives, labour productivity, inventory preparation, and staff development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain Store Standards across sales floor and backroom
- Support labour scheduling through Work Force Management
- Ensure staffing levels adequately support business operations
- Assist hiring across departments excluding Pharmacy
- Lead staff engagement through Shoppers Drug Mart Core Values
Requirements:
- Previous retail management experience
- Planning and preparation skills for Inventory Management
- Judgment and decision-making skills for expense control
- Effective leadership, mentorship, and staff development abilities
- Superior interpersonal, coaching, and communication skills
