Service Delivery Manager – Pythian Join Pythian as a Service Delivery Manager. Customer Relationship Management – Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, conduct Quarterly Business Reviews, translate Pythian’s services into business value. Service Delivery Oversight – Oversee end‑to‑end delivery, develop strategies, monitor progress, ensure compliance with scope, schedule, budget, and collaborate with Project Managers. Resource Management – Partner with technical team managers for resource allocation, forecast requirements, and address constraints. Quality & Performance Management – Monitor KPIs and SLAs, manage budgets, optimize margins, and drive continuous improvement. Cross‑functional Team Leadership – Coordinate with technical teams across practices to deliver high‑quality services aligned with client requirements and SLAs. Service Quality Assurance – Define and monitor KPIs and SLAs, identify areas for improvement and implement process enhancements. Financial Management – Develop and manage budgets, ensure customer margin optimization. Risk Management – Identify risks, develop mitigation strategies, handle escalations and critical issues. Documentation & Reporting – Maintain documentation, generate performance and customer reports, provide delivery reports. Continuous Improvement – Foster culture of continuous improvement within the service delivery team. Customer Account Growth – Work with Account Managers to expand within the customer’s environment. What do we need from you? Strong background in Customer Experience and project/change management practices. Problem‑solving and strategic thinking skills. ITIL certification (or equivalent). Positive, collaborative attitude. Technical IT experience: Public Cloud, QA, Software Development, DBA. Experience leading senior resources and managing a PMO at enterprise level. Strong influence and persuasion skills at all levels, including C‑level. Risk management, governance, compliance background. Understanding of PLC, SDLC, Agile (Scrum, Kanban). Experience driving cost efficiencies across complex programs. Optional PMP, Prince2, Lean/Six Sigma certifications. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering or related discipline (preferred). 10+ years of managing large strategic initiatives; 5+ years working with senior management. Familiarity with Azure, AWS, Google, OpenStack, IaaS/PaaS/SaaS. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Self‑motivated and able to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
