Design agricultural equipment in Winnipeg with AGI using CAD and structural design skills. Support project-specific configurations through established engineering procedures.
As a Level 1 Civil Designer, you will support AGI Engineering by designing assemblies from pre-engineered subcomponents. The work focuses on structural members and design across specific product families. You will collaborate with Application Designers or Engineers to develop appropriate customer solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop project-specific equipment designs using established procedures
- Configure equipment portfolios and templates for customer requirements
- Design assemblies as directed within product families
- Collaborate with Application Designers or Engineers on solutions
- Track design changes through the approval process
Requirements:
- Associate or Science and Technology certification in Drafting or Designing
- Civil discipline with structural emphasis preferred
- Zero to three years of experience
- Experience with three-dimensional CAD modeling; Inventor preferred
- Comfort using MS Office and EPDM systems
