MDA is on the lookout for a Satellite Bus System Engineer to translate comprehensive mission requirements into actionable system designs. You will manage system-level specifications and lead feasibility studies for subsystems crucial to satellite performance. Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams will be vital for ensuring project adherence and quality.
Key Responsibilities:
• Define and document system and interface requirements
• Lead detailed design reviews of satellites’ subsystems
• Coordinate verification plans and oversee testing phases
• Present analyses and technical updates to senior leadership
• Support real-time engineering during satellite launch
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace, or Physics
• 5-10 years in system design for satellite platforms
• Strong understanding of spacecraft bus subsystems
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Effective communication skills in English
