Operate CNC and manual lathes at Savaria’s 100% on-site Brampton facility, using precision measurement and blueprint-reading skills daily.
This CNC and Manual Lathe Operator produces precision parts according to engineering drawings and specifications. You will operate, set up, and maintain lathes, milling machines, and related equipment. Strong mechanical aptitude, troubleshooting ability, and attention to detail support accurate, safe production.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain CNC and manual lathes
- Set up machines and adjust feeds and speeds
- Review blueprints, drawings, and samples
- Measure parts and verify required tolerances
- Perform maintenance and minor machine repairs
Requirements:
- Two or more years operating CNC or manual lathes
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience with milling machines and measurement tools
- Ability to interpret engineering blueprints and drawings
- Basic G-code understanding is an advantage
