Maintain clean, safe camp facilities as a Housekeeper with Matrix, using sanitation and laundry skills in an in-person remote environment. Support residents’ comfort through organized housekeeping and general camp duties.
Matrix seeks reliable Housekeepers to maintain living quarters, common areas, offices, dining spaces, and laundry facilities. The position includes room preparation, waste handling, inventory monitoring, and kitchen sanitation support. Successful candidates follow site procedures, WHMIS requirements, and camp policies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean and disinfect assigned camp facilities and common spaces
- Prepare rooms for crew arrivals and departures
- Wash, fold, and replace linens and towels
- Handle waste according to site procedures
- Report supply needs, hazards, and unsafe conditions
Requirements:
- Previous housekeeping or janitorial experience preferred
- WHMIS certification or willingness to obtain
- Ability to follow sanitation procedures independently
- Ability to work extended shifts and rotational schedules
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
