We are seeking a dedicated SVP, National Distribution Partners to develop and execute strategies that drive our national relationship initiatives. This role involves building a comprehensive distribution strategy to support business growth, leading national broker relationships, managing KPIs, and aligning cross-functional teams—including Commercial Lines, Personal Lines, Underwriting, and Pricing—to meet national objectives. The focus is on innovation, performance management, and profitability, shaping the future of Aviva Canada’s distribution channels. What You'll Do Deliver a consistent and effective national relationships experience with top brokers. Collaborate with regional Business Development leaders on national relationships and KPI management. Identify issues and develop innovative strategies to ensure long-term viability and profitability of distribution channels. Focus on profitability and improving Broker and Consumer NPS scores. Work with Underwriting Leadership to set and track sales and profitability targets. Set priorities and initiatives annually to improve the business. Maintain effective relationships, address proactive planning, growth, and issue resolution. Monitor the external competitive environment. Review underwriting policies and practices, providing recommendations. Represent the company to regulators, customers, suppliers, and external bodies. Develop controls to manage corporate risk. Lead projects and programs, including broker rollout strategies and change management. Oversee Risk and Control, Training, and Analytics functions to support distribution strategies. What You'll Bring Bachelor's degree in business, commerce, or related field, or equivalent experience. Fellow Chartered Insurance Professional (FCIP) preferred. Over 15 years of property & casualty experience with leadership, marketing, and negotiation skills. Excellent communication skills to persuade, influence, and negotiate with stakeholders. Strategic, analytical, and creative thinking capabilities. Significant decision-making responsibility impacting business outcomes. Ability to motivate teams and develop talent.
