As Lead Developer you will build and support Global Wealth Management Systems, including trading, fee‑management and reporting systems. Responsibilities Lead technical decisioning for the scrum teams, collaborating with solutions architects and other technical leads. Develop coding standards and testing approaches. Collaborate with the delivery lead to plan milestones, successfully execute software delivery, and elevate issues as needed. Design and develop micro‑services based on cloud solutions such as Microsoft Azure and Google GCP. Analyze highly complex business requirements; generate technical specifications to design or redesign complex software components and applications. Leverage industry best practices to design, test, implement and support solutions. Ensure quality, security and compliance requirements are met for the supported area. Be flexible and thrive in an evolving environment. Work experience in performance analysis and tuning. Provide production support for maintained applications. Skills & Qualifications 10+ years of hands‑on programming experience using Java frameworks, deep understanding of object‑oriented techniques and design patterns; familiarity with multiple external Java frameworks is an asset. Knowledge and development practices in SOAP or RESTful web service protocols. Unix/Linux knowledge and strong shell‑scripting skills. Database experience with Oracle and MySQL; strong SQL and PL/SQL skills. Understanding of the functional aspects and technical behavior of operating systems, development environments and deployment practices. Proficiency in business analysis, technical analysis and design requirements. Extensive experience with Wealth Management systems such as trading, fee‑management and reporting systems. Excellent communication and project management skills. Creative, self‑starting, results‑oriented, with solid analytical skills to resolve business problems. Experience in wealth applications and trading systems is an asset. Business or technical certifications are an asset. Solid hands‑on development and support experience to lead solution development across technology teams. Agile and DevOps experience is an asset.
