Join UEL’s machine shop, furnished with advanced equipment, focusing on machining, assembly, and repair. This role requires reading blueprints, operating heavy machinery, and performing complex tasks with high accuracy. Experience in job shop environments is beneficial as you contribute to various project demands.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate lathes, milling machines, and other machining tools
• Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Conduct mechanical disassembly and assembly to repair equipment
• Measure with precision tools to ensure compliance
• Maintain a clean and safe work area
Requirements:
• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Red Seal Journeyman Machinist certificate is an asset
• Proficiency with manual machines in job shops
• Ability to follow safety protocols at all times
• Must be eligible to work in Canada
