IT Systems Administrator – Windows

Requirements Proven experience with cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure. Strong understanding of virtualization technologies, particularly VMware ESXi. Hands‑on experience with various database management systems, including SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, and NoSQL databases. Proficiency in operating systems, including Windows Server and various Linux distributions. Solid understanding of computer networking concepts, including DNS, VPNs, and TCP/IP protocols. Familiarity with containerization tools like Kubernetes is preferred. Experience with scripting languages such as Bash, Python, and PowerShell for automation tasks. Knowledgeable in DevOps practices utilizing Git, Jenkins, T‑SQL, Shell Scripting, and PL/SQL. Ability to troubleshoot complex system issues across various platforms effectively. Excellent problem‑solving skills and a proactive attitude towards system maintenance and security improvements. Responsibilities Manage and support AWS and Azure cloud environments to ensure efficient and secure operation. Maintain virtualization platforms such as VMware and ESXi, including deployment, configuration, and troubleshooting. Administer and optimize databases like SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, and NoSQL databases while ensuring data integrity. Configure and manage operating systems, including Windows and Linux distributions, to support business operations. Oversee DNS configurations, VPN setups, and network security protocols to ensure reliable connectivity. Develop automation scripts using Bash, Shell Scripting, Python, or PowerShell to enhance system processes. Implement container orchestration solutions like Kubernetes for scalable application deployment. Manage Git, Jenkins, and related CI/CD pipelines as part of the DevOps team for continuous integration and delivery. Monitor system health with REST APIs and other monitoring tools, troubleshoot proactively, and maintain thorough documentation of system configurations, procedures, and policies.
