This role is an exciting opportunity for a skilled individual contributor, showcasing deep knowledge in Canadian customs and international trade. You will oversee compliance activities, vendor management, and customs accounting controls while collaborating with sourcing, merchandising, transportation, and finance teams. Your expertise will ensure operational efficiency in managing Customs compliance across Signet's international operations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage vendor onboarding and shipment documentation
• Own the Canada tariff grid, including HS classifications
• Coordinate compliance across assigned markets with brokers
• Validate customs value and resolve discrepancies
• Monitor clearance timeliness and declaration accuracy
Requirements:
• Bachelor's in Customs, Trade, Logistics, or related field
• 6+ years in customs compliance and operations experience
• Strong expertise in jurisdiction-specific compliance
• Proficiency in Excel and data analysis
• Ability to independently resolve operational issues
