This Cook 1 position suits an experienced kitchen professional who wants to exceed expectations and keep learning in the food industry. You will prepare menu items, support kitchen colleagues, and maintain standards established by Lais Hotel Properties’ kitchen management. The role requires at least three years’ experience, communication skills, and self-motivation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare menu items according to specifications and guest requests
- Provide personalized and exceptional guest service
- Assist other team members as needed
- Maintain a clean work area and support quality control
- Perform stock rotation and follow food standards
Requirements:
- Minimum three years’ experience
- Red Seal Certification
- Excellent knife skills and food knowledge
- Current Safe Food Handler’s Certificate
- Basic WHMIS and safe food handling knowledge
