As a Health Care Aide, you will support residents in various capacities under the guidance of the Care Manager. The position requires strong communication, respect for resident autonomy, and adherence to safety protocols. Your role will be crucial in promoting the overall well-being of residents.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist with personal care needs such as bathing and dressing
• Ensure safety regulations are followed
• Establish trusting relationships with residents and families
• Document all relevant care information
• Participate in team meetings and quality improvement activities
Requirements:
• Graduate from an accredited Health Care Aide program
• Registration with CLHA current
• Clear Criminal Record Check within the last 6 months
• Ability to handle physical demands of the role
• Experience in a caregiver role preferred
