About the Role: We are seeking a motivated Technical Sales Representative to promote and market IMDEX products, services, and solutions locally. This role involves building and maintaining client relationships, delivering technical solutions, and driving sales in alignment with IMDEX’s strategy. Key Responsibilities: Consultative Selling: Engage clients through structured contact plans, present products and services, identify client needs, and provide tailored solutions. Respond promptly to client queries and complaints, escalating complex issues as needed. Technical Service Delivery: Provide technical support, training, and insights to clients. Maintain knowledge of IMDEX solutions and communicate client feedback to product teams. Account Management: Develop networks within the territory, identify opportunities for account growth, and manage CRM data. Ensure consistent client engagement and follow-up. Prospecting & Business Development: Identify new business opportunities, analyze market trends, and maintain a pipeline of prospective clients in the CRM system. Value Selling: Understand client pain points and objectives, present compelling value propositions. Facilitate cross-functional collaboration for seamless client experiences. Leadership & Collaboration: Promote teamwork, accountability, constructive feedback, and proactive problem-solving. Health, Safety & Environment: Adhere to QHSE policies, use personal protective equipment, and report hazards or incidents. Risk & Compliance: Follow IMDEX risk and compliance procedures, reporting any potential issues, and model positive compliance behavior. Qualifications & Experience: Essential: Completion of secondary education Minimum 2 years of sales experience, preferably in the mining or drilling industry Desirable: Experience with CRM systems Knowledge of drilling, mining processes, drilling optimization, rock knowledge, and data analytics Familiarity with IMDEX technologies (e.g., Gyros, Fluids) IMDEX Vital Behaviours: Global Game Changers: Reduce environmental impact, embrace flexible thinking, and leverage global expertise.
