Handle high-volume cash transactions as a Cage Cashier with Great Canadian Entertainment, supporting customer service and accurate cash administration.
Under Cage supervision, this position manages cash counts and gaming-related transactions in a casino environment. Responsibilities include foreign currency exchange, travelers cheques, cash discrepancies, and machine or table credits. The role also supports a safe, welcoming workplace and effective communication.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process foreign currency, travelers cheques, coins, bills, and cash adjustments
- Monitor and report discrepancies and suspicious cash activities
- Redeem value chips and gaming tickets for cash
- Verify machine fills, jackpots, credits, and table transactions
- Document and reconcile transactions, floats, and deposits
Requirements:
- Minimum one year of high-volume cash-handling experience
- Serving it Right Certification
- Ability to obtain a Gaming License
- Flexible availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Service-oriented communication with customers and teams
